On May 19, members of the Lincoln County community, including Lincoln
County commissioners Terry Thompson and Bill Hall, gathered to plant a
rose bush in recognition of the 50th anniversary of Lyndon Johnson's
announcement of the formation of Head Start.
Head Start, which provides
comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition and parent
involvement services to low-income children and their families — has
benefited numerous individuals. Head Start has been a part of CSC for 20
years, with locations in Newport, Toledo, and Lincoln City.
We are so
proud of the positive impact Head Start has had on the Lincoln County
community. Thanks for everyone that has supported us over the years!

Welcome to CSC's blog and e-newsletter!
These communications tools can be used to make announcements, acknowledge donors and volunteers, post videos and slideshows–whatever we want to share with our online community.
There are 3 ways to deliver info to stakeholders:
- The blog itself, which can be linked to our current website
- Email news blasts (blog articles sent via email as eNewsletters)
- RSS Feed (subscribers read in Google Reader or other feed reader, can also send posts to Facebook and Twitter)
If you have agency/program information you'd like posted on this blog, please send full text and/or photos and videos, ideas, or suggestions to Janet Hessel and she will take the next steps.
Enjoy!
